The growth at Signal Butte and the 24 is becoming hard to miss.

What was once a developing site is quickly taking shape. Construction is now underway on a new gas station, while the Walmart continues to make major progress as one of the development’s key anchors.

With site work moving forward and additional retail and commercial opportunities taking shape, Destination at Gateway is becoming another major piece of the continued growth happening throughout the Southeast Valley.

The transformation is well underway, and there’s still more to come.

Pave What Needs Paving

Not every pavement problem calls for a full neighborhood makeover.

With asphalt remove and replace, crews can target the areas that need the most attention, removing failed pavement and replacing it with a fresh, durable surface. Strategic repairs can help extend pavement life, improve safety, and address problem areas without the cost and disruption of paving an entire neighborhood.

When the City Sleeps, We Work.

Our crews were working after hours on SR-238 in Maricopa, Arizona, completing paving operations overnight while keeping daytime traffic moving.

That timing matters. Overnight paving can reduce traffic impacts and allow critical roadway work to move forward with fewer disruptions to commuters. With Maricopa’s population growing by nearly 35% since 2020, infrastructure has to grow right alongside the community.

As Maricopa continues to grow, we’re proud to help build and maintain the infrastructure that keeps the community moving.

Views from the Shuttle Buggy

Technically known as a Material Transfer Vehicle (MTV), the Shuttle Buggy does much more than simply move asphalt. It receives hot mix from the trucks, remixes the material to help maintain a more uniform temperature and mix, and continuously feeds the paver.

By keeping the material moving and helping reduce segregation, the Shuttle Buggy allows the paving operation to run more continuously and helps produce a more consistent mat.

The new and improved Warren & Papago curve is built to provide a safer, smoother connection to and from Hidden Valley. With new asphalt pavement, bright road markings, and a permanent concrete barrier, this project is built with safety and long-term performance in mind.

A big shoutout to our Civil team for their work helping bring this project together from the ground up.
