Peaden Electric Company LLC is looking for a skilled Service Electrician with 5+ years of experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work. We’re a family-owned company that values quality workmanship, reliability, and safety.

What You’ll Do

⚡ Install and service electrical systems
⚡ Troubleshoot and repair up to 480V
⚡ Read and follow blueprints & NEC guidelines
⚡ Lead small crews when needed
⚡ Perform inspections, maintenance & system upgrades
⚡ Work independently and safely

What We’re Looking For

✔ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
✔ Ability to work independently
✔ Must be willing to travel
✔ Experience with residential, commercial, and/or industrial service
✔ Good communication and teamwork
✔ License preferred but not required

Consistent 40+ hour work weeks

The devastation we've seen this week across North Carolina and our neighboring states of Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee is truly heartbreaking. Here at Peaden Electric, our family has always had deep roots in the mountains of North Carolina, spending countless vacations there. It’s painful to witness the damage and hardship faced by so many in these communities.

This week, our co-owners, Lyman Peaden, and his wife, Michelle, were set to celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary with a trip to the mountains, a tradition they've enjoyed every year. But after thoughtful discussion and prayer, Michelle, who has been a Mother-Baby/Special Care RN for over 12 years, felt a calling to help. Rather than focus on themselves, they decided to cancel their plans and volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse, offering their time and resources to those in need in Western North Carolina.

Michelle is passionate about supporting mothers and babies, and she’s organizing a supply drive to collect essentials like formula, diapers, wipes, and baby food for families affected by the recent devastation. If you’d like to contribute, Peaden Electric is happy to assist in collecting donations or providing pick-up. Michelle has also created an Amazon wish list, so you can donate directly from home, with items shipped straight to her for delivery to the affected areas.

We know not everyone can give in the same way, but whether you can donate supplies, your time, or simply keep these communities in your prayers, it all makes a difference. Let’s come together to support our neighbors in this difficult time.

It feels like just yesterday when I dropped you off at daycare, and now you've graduated high school. Time has passed by so quickly. I couldn't be more proud of you as you walked across the stage, receiving your diploma. Your Nannie was beaming with pride from up above, telling everyone in heaven “That’s my grandson.” It's hard to believe that in a few months, you'll be off to college to start a new chapter in your life. Always dream big and aim high, play your music loud, and be a smile wherever you go.
