Cotton’s Electrical Contracting & Services, LLC (CECS) is seeking motivated and dedicated Laborers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians to join our team for an exciting opportunity. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentices and Laborers will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
This is hiring event is for 1-3 large projects ONLY. Candidates who are able to demonstrate abilities to work well with others, possess fair to advanced skill-sets, responsible and good attendance may be offered permanent positions with the opportunity to advance their careers..
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is preferred but not required for Apprentices and Laborers.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
Basic understanding of electrical principles, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical work.
Experience on construction sites with knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.

Licenses: TDLR – Required for Apprentice and Journeymen Electricians
Skills: Wall Rough-In, Overhead Rough-In, Conduit Bending, Blueprint Reading
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Candidates must be able to meet physical requirements of the job, such as the ability to lift heavy equipment/materials and work at heights.
Wages:
$15 - $45 an hour. Rate will be set/negotiated by owner and will be based upon experience, workmanship and ability to complete tasks efficiently and properly.
