High West Energy High West Energy's mission is to serve our members and communities by providing safe, reliable, and reasonably priced energy and services.

High West Energy is an electric utility that serves customers in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado. Based in Laramie County, Wyoming, our company is a not-for-profit cooperative, owned by our members. We currently serve about 10,000 member accounts, including residential homes, businesses and government facilities. High West Energy member-owned strives for reliability, excellent communication and for delivering what we promise. Our company is known for treating members fairly, looking out for their best interests and for providing the best service at the lowest possible cost. Our service territory includes more than 4,200 square miles and more than 3,500 miles of power lines. This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

We're committed to providing our members with convenient, reliable tools and services. To help ensure our systems continue to serve you efficiently, we have a scheduled maintenance event planned:

Due to an active Red Flag Warning, High West Energy is operating in fire mitigation mode in our Wyoming service area west of Burns, through 6:00 p.m. tonight.
To help reduce the risk of wildfire, we have adjusted certain protective settings on the electric system. While these measures are in place, members in the affected area may experience an increased risk of outages, particularly if storms, lightning, or high winds occur.
These precautions are designed to help protect our members, communities, and the areas we serve by reducing the potential for wildfire ignition.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take these additional steps to keep our communities safe.

This month, High West Energy joins organizations across the country in recognizing the importance of breast cancer awareness and early detection.

Many of us have been impacted by breast cancer, whether personally or through a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor. Throughout October, we encourage our employees and community members to learn more about breast cancer, talk with their healthcare providers, and stay up to date on recommended screenings.

Together, we can help raise awareness, support those affected, and encourage early detection.
