Rainy Wednesday irrigation work

Today we spent the day starting up and repairing a large commercial irrigation system.

We adjusted coverage, checked zones, and replaced these 12 worn/damaged sprinkler heads shown here.

Small irrigation issues can turn into dry spots, wasted water, poor coverage, and bigger repair bills if they are ignored.

Yesterday’s rain gave us a short morning of organizing the shop, and after seeing how soft the lawns were, we decided it was best not to bust the equipment out and risk leaving ruts or causing damage.

That meant an unexpected slower day, and I got to spend it with these two. Two trips to the park, lunch, and somehow even a nap for both of them.

As much as we want to keep the schedule moving, sometimes the best decision for your lawn is to wait one more day.

Back at it again tomorrow!
