* Snow level... 4500 to 5500 feet late Thursday night... 4000 feet
Friday... and 2500 to 3000 feet Friday night and early Saturday
with local snow levels near 2000 feet.

* Thunderstorms... isolated thunderstorms are possible Friday night
with small hail or graupel.

* Winds... southwest to west winds in the mountains and deserts
Thursday night and Friday with strongest gusts to 65 mph... mainly
near ridge tops and along and near Desert Mountain slopes.

* Impacts... this weather could be deadly for unprepared campers or
hikers. The combination of strong winds... low visibilities... and
snowfall could create hazardous travel conditions in the mountains
especially Friday and Friday night with snow levels low enough to
impact travel on Interstate 15 through the Cajon Pass and
Interstate 8 through the San Diego County mountains.

People people people..its going to get down to the 20's over the weekend and won't make it out of the 30's during the day. Make sure you have firewood if thats the only heat your house has. Don't get caught without any heat!

Temperatures will be in the low 40's for a week or so then it will drop to the high 30's. Don't get caught without any firewood. Besides the need to stay warm.....fires can be very romantic. So get some firewood, start a fire and cuddle up ....

Temperatures are going to be dropping soon (at least they should lol). Don't wait till it gets cold to order your firewood. Be prepared.....with many things. We wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.......BTW, shop the local people instead of the big corporations. Get money flowing again........

We have been burning cottonwood for 2 days now. Don't understand why people don't care for it. It has burned hot enough to heat the living/dining room, it didn't leave a lot of ash in the bottom and it didn't burn fast. Its a good wood!

Its amazing what 45 yrs can do to a back. I had Phillip (our mountain grand son) help today with the firewood. Such energy!! I think I almost remember those days lol. Thank you so much Phillip!!
