Did you know how Fall got its name? (bonus question at the end)
Back in 1545, an English archer named Roger Ascham wrote a primer on archery called Toxophilus—Latin for “lover of the bow.” In it, he explained how archery techniques changed with the seasons, and when speaking of autumn, he described it as the season of the “fall of the leafe.” That phrase stuck, and eventually became the word we use today: Fall.
That season is here again, and I know my fellow Texans are soaking up these cooler mornings and evenings. But to really make the most of this beautiful time of year, you need a good place outside to enjoy it. You need a deck by Reddy Pros.
We’ve fine-tuned our deck-building process by combining the standards of International Residential Code with our firsthand knowledge of Texas weather and soil to build the strongest, longest-lasting decks money can buy. In fact, we’re the only local deck business Trex Company trusts to be their Certified Pro installer. To date, they have trained 5 of our project managers at their main factory in Wi******er, Virginia, through their Trex University course, where we learned everything about expert composite deck installation.
Getting certified by Trex means more than just training—it means Trex stands behind us, providing a manufacturer's warranty not just for their materials, but also our installation and labor. Add that to our own industry-leading warranty, and you get double the protection and total peace of mind.
No other local decking company offers that. So, if you’re looking for a deck to enjoy the “fall of the leafe” this season, give us a call!
Our estimates are free and include a design consultation with 3D architectural renderings so you can visualize your dream deck before we build it.
Bonus Question: can you read the ancient English script in this folio image where "fall of the leaf" is mentioned? It might be harder than you think. 😉
