It is Nutsedge season! For the areas that have gotten rain recently, the yellow nutsedge is exploding! We are out and about treating for it over the next few weeks and into September.

Last night's brief rain has our cicada killer wasps very active today. They dig into the ground and can do a little damage to turf, but they are essentially harmless.

☀️☀️Warning and advice for our Bucks county friends. ☀️☀️
We have had about a half inch of rain over the last month. Things are looking crispy in many areas. With rain in the forecast every few days, it is easy to overlook that we haven't actually gotten much rain. Philadelphia and Lehigh county have gotten significantly more rain than us.
Watering in the morning is ideal for 45 minutes per area if using a sprinkler.
For many people, including our customer shown below, your lawn may just go dormant and will be completely fine once we do get rain. For some others, if grass begins to lay flat and not stand back up, it won't be recovering.

Lesser Celandine is an invasive species in the buttercup family. It spreads by bulbets and tubers, making it difficult to control once established. It is very active this time of year and one of our more noticable targets.
