Here's one of our more recent projects we just wrapped up. This client needed more room accessing their house from the garage. We also made it so that they could walk straight in/out instead of having to step up/down.

I've been working on a couple of renovation projects for the last few months and have neglected social media.

To make up for it, here is a coat rack shelf I made for a family member. Her late husband salvaged the glass door k***s from the house that he was raised in as a kid. The wood is old growth heart pine door casing reclaimed from the old Bostic house on my wife's family farm.

Here's my portable mill setup. It's a Norwood HD36v2 bandsaw mill. It will handle 36" dia. logs and is currently configured to accept 12' logs. I'll likely be adding the 4' extension in the near future. Not pictured is the hydraulic log loader - capable of lifting near 3,000lbs.

I tested out the router sled that I built for this project. It worked pretty good, but I have a couple of ideas on how I can make it a smoother operation. I'll likely apply a beeswax compound to the top to help the router slide across it better.

On another note, it looks like I will be removing the T&G boards that make up this table top and replacing them. The flattening process has uncovered too many defects to continue with them.
