Last week Heather with Pittsburgh Today Live, broke a beautiful story about Cookie Cookie Ice Cream Company, a business started for people in special needs transition programs and in need of employment.

She mentioned on her show that their cake display freezer was broken and they could not get it repaired. Fazio Mechanical along with The Home of Steamfitters Local 449 were happy to answer the call to assist this family and their amazing mission.

Happy Earth Day! Today is the birthday of the modern environmental movement that began in 1970. Earth Day is used to celebrate Earth and raise awareness about the activities we can do to help. Here at Fazio Mechanical Services, we believe that small changes are the key to a sustainable future.

Here is how we engage in making the world a more sustainable place.
1. One of our top goals is to reduce energy consumption which in turn can reduce pressure on PJM distribution who works to provide access for supplier and electricity users.

2. Fazio’s Energy Department works to monitor energy consumption, track usage, identify goals and set up a business plan to achieve sustainability. To find out more go to https://lnkd.in/gJXat4bd

3. We actively engage in refrigerant reduction programs. These programs work to diminish ozone depleting substances and greenhouse gas emissions.
