Initial Install - 5 years ago, Dirk's daughter bought a house in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Her garage wall was bulging and cracked and was an obvious foundation problem. After getting quotes of 5 figures, she turned to Dirk, a structural engineer to see if there was anything he could do. Owning his own firm for 30+ years, he came up with a way to repair basement and garage walls that are failing due to the earth pressure pushing against the foundation, DAT System. This 10' garage wall was bulging 3.5" outward and DAT System brought it back to 1.75" and structurally stable. Now that he's stepping back from his company, he has reworked DAT System (bigger anchors so you don't need as many as shown in picture) and is ready to help more with their foundation issues.
