Since Margittai Architects has been located in Pittsburgh's South Side for 25 years, we take extra pleasure in designing projects in our own neighborhood!

By renovating and adding to this modest early 20th Century building, we will be creating five new apartment units. The property is located in the East Carson Street Historic District, therefore, the Historic Guidelines requires us to strike the balance between old and new - always a fun challenge!

Margittai Architects believes that the success of a project is measured by the team’s ability to maintain the integrity of the design throughout the various phases.

Keeping the design's spirit - from the concept sketches and rendering, through the construction documentation and construction phase is MUCH more difficult than you may think!
