🌿 Embracing the Wonder of Helleborus Orientalis (Hellebores) 🌸 Let Exceptional Gardens make your winter landscape shine!

Dive into the enchanting world of Hellebores – the beautiful dry shade perennial with its large palmate leaves that grace our gardens. Although not evergreen in our area, these leaves persist, adding a touch of elegance until the spring freeze and thaw cycle.

✂️ Wondering how to care for these beauties?
Trim off the winter-ravaged foliage in late Feb or March. Horticulture hint: as you trim, reveal the emerging blooms. To protect them from winter burn, simply cover the blooms with fall leaves – watch as they push through, resilient and ready to shine.

🌱 Bonus tip: Hellebores re-seed prolifically. Be patient and wait two to three years before transplanting the seedlings for a successful new generation in your garden.
