While on the job, I maintain a sharp lookout for small wildlife. I relocated this 2-3 year old Easter Box Turtle about 15 yards away to a safe location. Are you aware that they can potentially live up to 100 years old?
I sometimes need 2 sets of eyes. Two looking foward, and two looking out to my sides.
Edit- They only grow about 1/2" on the shell a year, in the first 5 years.

Laying these old Christmas trees down, slow and steady.... I came up with a good technique to lay them all over in the same direction and windrow them, then turn around and mulch them all up. Only a trillion acres left it seems like.... Its flat ground at least.

In Hocking Hills, Ohio, Allstar Ecology is conducting a remarkable wetlands restoration project, which entails restoring an old Christmas tree farm to its native wetlands.
Glad to be part of this project doing the forestry mulching for them. Listen to these spring peeper frogs..... Thay are just so cool. Don't worry, they are hanging out about 60' away in the current wetland...

I am currently working on a coal strip job restoration project that is quite impressive. I have encountered some of the largest invasive Autumn Olive I have ever seen. The steep hills are a challenge, keeping me alert. This project is indirectly related to Jim Beam whiskey barrels. They are planting approximately 20,000 white oak trees.
