Our Conneaut Creek bridge replacement project had a very special train pass over it last week. Union Pacific Railroad's Big Boy No. 4014, the world’s largest operating steam locomotive, crossed the bridge as part of its coast-to-coast tour celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
Mascaro completed the demolition and replacement of the 1,320-foot-long, 28-span open-deck bridge over Conneaut Creek using 2,669 cubic yards of concrete and 2,350 tons of steel.
