Before & After: Flat Roof Restoration
On this TPO flat roof restoration the original roof had aged membrane sections, deteriorating seams, and multiple areas vulnerable to leaks, especially around penetrations and edges. For a public building like this court house, long-term performance and minimal disruption were key.
What we did:
✔️ Thorough surface prep and inspection
✔️ Installed a fully adhered white TPO membrane
✔️ Heat-welded seams for watertight protection
✔️ Reinforced all penetrations and transitions
✔️ Improved reflectivity to reduce heat absorption
Why TPO?
TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is one of the most reliable systems for flat and low-slope roofs. It’s:
• Highly durable
• Energy efficient (reflective surface)
• Resistant to UV and weathering
• Ideal for commercial and municipal buildings
The “after” photo shows a clean, uniform membrane designed to perform for decades, not just look good on day one.
If you manage or own a commercial, municipal, or flat-roof building, regular inspections and timely restoration can save major replacement costs down the road.
