Presenting this design and vision this Thursday and too excited not to share it with you all! The existing home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and is now coming down for a new custom home, pool and landscape on this beach front property!! Going to be an amazing transformation and can't wait to see what our clients think!! The pool is sited 4.5' above the water and we are rolling the grades down 18" to the water, so the required pool fencing is below your line of site and filtered/screened by native plantings along the shoreline. Getting excited as this past weekend before all the rain, we completed the demolition of the existing vinyl pool and cool decking etc. This space will be restored into usable flat lawn space for the kids/family. As our new vision is to bring the new pool and outdoor environment closer to the home, be more integrated and accessible (also say within compliance of impervious coverage) and create an indoor bathroom in the basement from the walkout! Keep the wet feet and clothes out of the home on the first floor! This is going to be an amazing transformation and want to thank our friends Garden Artisans LLC for inviting us to design the vision and execute the project with them! Sharing an example of a project we designed and built years ago after Hurricane Sandy in Pointe Pleasant Beach NJ. New bulkhead, doc, home, pool and outdoor environment! Very limited access on this 150 x 50' lot, so once the pilings were in place for the pool and home, we had to construct a good portion of the pool, before the home was started (only 10' access on one side). 10' setbacks on all three sides. The design process is the most important investment, also the smallest, but it determines everything and protects the larger investment!! So I can't emphasis that enough coming from someone who's been doing his for (48) years and I've been responsible in managing over $250,000,000 + for all the clients we have severed!
