I keep searching for the words to share on my friend, family and brother Ricardo Barbosa. Our friendship started in the early 90s and evolved into a brotherhood. I look at photos and that smile is always there. He loved his wife, his family with unmatched passion and devotion. His love of motorcycles and racing turned into one of the most successful KTM dealerships in the USA. He was instrumental in the 90s freestyle videos sponsorship and promotion, we filmed TIME TO RIDE in an epic Colorado trip in 97. We spent birthdays, family gatherings and the famous Christmas Eve parties together. He always had a smile and a hug every time we saw each other. I would learn some Portuguese from him and his family and we would laugh because my Spanish always got in the way in some pronunciation 😂. Our boys and Kelly raced together and along with Robert Orendain, Don Barton and Mark Burch started Three Brothers Racing team. Weekday rides were always on the menu, Arrowhead, Copper City, Red Mountain before his place at Bean Canyon. I have so many stories and not enough space. Ricardo had something special where he made you feel special, never flew of the handle and on occasion he could calm me down when I was not at my best. Words could never sum up his legacy but I aspire to live, love and be a better human being. Eu te amo irmão Deus velocidade you are one of a kind.
