🌳 Getting Ready for Winter in Diamond Springs

Today we helped a homeowner get ahead of the upcoming wet winter by addressing several oak trees around their property.

We removed 2 oaks that were leaning over structures, with one also showing signs of rot, and selectively trimmed 3 additional oaks to address potential hazards while keeping the healthy trees in place.

All branches were chipped and the chips were hauled away. The wood was cut into approximately 16-inch rounds and left for the customer to use as firewood. 🪵

Taking care of questionable trees before the winter storms arrive can make a big difference—especially when they're close to homes, garages and other structures.

Big Black Oak Weight Reduction in Diamond Springs 🌳

Today we worked on three mature black oaks in Diamond Springs, focusing primarily on weight reduction and protecting the surrounding structures.

One of the trees had a large, heavy limb extending directly over a structure. We removed that limb and selectively reduced weight throughout the trees while keeping their natural shape and canopy.

Proper weight reduction isn't about topping a tree or taking off everything you can. It's about selectively removing and shortening limbs to reduce excessive end weight while maintaining the tree's overall structure.

All three trees were climbed and pruned. 🌳🧗

Once the tree work was complete, all the branches were chipped. About half of the chips were left with the customer for ground coverage, and the rest were hauled away.
The larger wood was left onsite for the customer to process into firewood.

Another good day doing what I love and helping take some weight off these beautiful old oaks.

🌲 Meet the owner behind George Staddan’s Professional Tree Care

Hey everyone, George here!

I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and the guy behind the truck. I started George Staddan’s Professional Tree Care because I wanted to build a local tree-care company based on doing good work, treating people’s property with respect, and taking pride in the finished job.

One of the things I enjoy most about this line of work is climbing. There’s something about being up in the trees, working through a challenging removal or trimming job, and figuring out the safest and most efficient way to get the job done that I really enjoy. It’s more than just a job to me — I genuinely love being in the trees.

From tree removals and trimming to hazardous tree work, storm cleanup, defensible space, and everything in between, I enjoy getting out there and getting the job done right.

🌲 Another job completed in Po***ck Pines, California!

We recently completed a combination tree removal and tree-care project for a homeowner in Po***ck Pines.

The job included:
• Removal of a small Black Oak leaning toward the back deck
• Removal of a good-sized Cedar located next to the corner of the house
• Trimming of four Douglas firs for ground clearance and ladder-fuel reduction
• Chipping and cleanup of all debris

We chipped approximately half of the material on site for ground coverage, while the remaining chips were hauled away.

All usable wood was bucked into 16-inch firewood rounds and left for the homeowner to use. We also took some older Cedar rounds that had been left behind by a previous contractor and cut those into usable 16-inch firewood as well.

We take pride in leaving our customers with a clean, safe property while making the most of the wood and material from the trees.
