Bees moved into this space and had a large colony! I cut an access hole the size of a vent, removed the comb to a box, and transferred them to a new home. I'm glad I was wearing triple gloves!

For the past several months I have averaged 1 bee extraction per week. Bees are entering into homes because of builder errors. The most common one is that where the soffit joins another roof, the carpenter cuts the soffit 1/2 of an inch too short. Tape measures have a lip on the end that doesn't allow an accurate measurement. That gap is a perfect space for bees to land on the shingles and walk into the building.

This was a well established colony in Little Elm. Homeowner noticed it when the bees swarmed this year. The comb went all the way to the corner of the building and down into the bricks.
We removed what we could, filled the void, and replaced the soffit and freeze board. These bees moved in because the builder did not bring the material all the way down. There was a 1/2 inch gap.
Only time will tell if our work solved the problem.
It's best to be conservative and not rip out large sections of the building. The honey should dry up after the bees are gone. May 2022.

A complicated bee extraction in Celina.

We had two swarms of bees at a property on Parker Road. We were able to put both in boxes. One was under a picnic table where kids eat lunch...no one noticed it until AFTER they had all finished eating.

This job is in south-central Plano. An exterminator had poisoned the colony 3 years ago, but did not remove the bees, so they chewed through the sheet rock and came out the garage. They also found their way into the shower above the garage. We cut a hole in the ceiling of the garage and found that the home builder had left 4' without insulation. It was a perfect nest. We were able to save some of the bees and add them to an existing hive. We made 3 trips to this house and left the joists open until we had NO MORE BEES! On one of the pictures you can see the rows of comb. We packed everything with insulation, sealed it with caulk and added a special dust designed to discourage bees from returning in the future. We left the homeowner with a honey bear to help him get over the trauma of showering with the bees. Total cost, including materials was $500.

June extraction in Celina, TX. The bees had decided to build in the unfinished front porch ceiling. The bees shut down the job because the workers couldn't get through the front door. This colony is doing well in their new home, and the workers went back to work!

Bee problems in Frisco are solved. A small colony had entered through a crack in the wall and had made home behind the bricks. Unfortunately these bees could not be relocated. The siding was opened, the bees killed, and everything sealed up to prevent their return. July 2021

We will affordably remove your bees and rebuild the damage.
