Our golf division recently finished renovating the Hollywood Beach Golf Club golf course in Hollywood, Florida.

The first picture highlights the finished renovation prior to our sister company, Quality Turf, installing the turf grass. ⛳️

It was a pleasure working with Hollywood Beach Golf Club, McCumber Golf and Richard Mandell Golf Architecture on this renovation project!

National Surveyors Week!

Today we’re highlighting Robert “Burt” Thompson, P.S.M., our Surveying and Mapping AVP, for his nearly 30 years of experience in the surveying industry.

Burt has worked across a wide range of projects including boundary and topographic surveys, aerial photogrammetry control, construction staking, subdivisions, and infrastructure development. His experience spans roads, bridges, utilities, flood control studies, and major building construction, supporting projects from planning through construction.

Throughout his career, Burt has contributed to important public infrastructure work with organizations such as Florida Department of Transportation, Polk County Roads and Drainage Division, Polk County Natural Resources and Drainage Division, the City of Lakeland, and the City of Sebring.

From transportation corridors and wastewater facilities to environmental projects and site development, Burt’s expertise in surveying, mapping, and construction layout has played a key role in delivering accurate data and supporting successful projects across Florida.

During National Surveyors Week, we’re recognizing the important work our Survey Department does to support site development at QGS Development.

Our team combines traditional surveying expertise with modern tools – by utilizing our FAA Part 107 certified drone pilots and the Propeller Platform to help oversee projects, capture aerial data, and gather valuable site information. While drones don’t replace conventional survey methods, they provide a powerful supplemental tool that improves visibility and supports decision making across our projects.

A big thank you to the survey professionals who help keep our projects accurate, efficient, and moving forward.

Kicking off National Surveyors Week by spotlighting Allison Serletic, our dedicated Record Survey Coordinator!

Allison has over 10 years of experience in land surveying. She is graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a specialization in Environmental Geosciences from the University of Florida in May 2026, and holds her Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) certification in Florida.

With a strong background in both field and office surveying, Allison brings a detail-oriented and practical approach to every project. She coordinates record surveys, supports construction teams, and helps ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the development process. Her experience across multiple phases of surveying gives her a well-rounded perspective that benefits both clients and project teams.

By combining strong technical knowledge with practical experience, she strives to ensure that every survey, coordinate, and deliverable contributes to safe, efficient, and successful construction outcomes.
