Check out this cold climate “air-to-water” heat pump we just installed. The homeowner was using an older cast iron oil boiler to heat their home. They decide to upgrade to a heat pump that actually heats up the water just like the boiler used to. This is a great option for anyone with in-floor radiant heat. The buffer tank pictured not only stores the hot water, it has an electric backup element for those few days a year when it gets really cold…And yess, it did qualify for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority $10,000 rebate!

This customer received a $5,000 NYS Clean Heat Rebate by having us remove their oil fired furnace and install a Senville cold climate heat pump system designed to heat their entire home! In addition to the rebate, they’re going to save big on heating expenses since they no longer have to buy fuel oil PLUS they have AC in the entire home now!

Another home is no longer using expensive, dirty fuel oil to heat their home! This Mitsubishi Electric two condenser, five indoor wall units system puts out 54,000 BTUs even when the temperature is -5 outside. Enough to heat the entire home all winter. We installed a new Mitsubishi Electric heat pump to keep them cool all summer and give them some inexpensive heat for most of the winter. This customer will have plenty of cold air in the summer and heat in the offseason. They went with Mitsubishi Electric ceiling cassettes for all three of the bedrooms and a large high wall unit for the main living room/kitchen area.
