We just wrapped up this Mitsubishi Electric ducted cold climate heat pump system. The owner is an architect and designed this custom home for his family which required some tricky ductwork runs. Hynes Plumbing Supply helped design the system which includes an electric backup heat strip for the really cold nights.

It’s that time of year for AC systems! This customer just bought a MRCOOL mini split DIY kit so their short term rental will have air conditioning this summer. These DIY kits are easy to install if you have basic carpentry and electrical knowledge. Buy them directly from Phaze instead of online and we’ll match their price PLUS you can call us directly if you have questions installing it. Of course we’re more than happy to install them for you!

We just finished up this new modular home with Plattsburgh Housing Outlet . Phaze installed a Mitsubishi Electric cold climate heat pump and an on demand combi boiler for domestic hot water and backup heating. The heating system is controlled by WiFi thermostats that tell the heat pump to heat the home first. Since it’s designed to New York State Energy Research and Development Authority Clean Heat program specs, it can heat the entire home even when the temperature is as low as -8 degrees! If the temperature drops below that, the thermostat switches to telling the propane boiler to turn on to heat the home. Also, check out the huge shower with a rain head, handheld wand and shower head! All three heads have separate water lines so the pressure stays consistent even if someone flushes a toilet or runs the washing machine!
