Big welcome to our new Rt. 9 neighbors, The Jawn Deli!

What stands out to us at LCR is that they’re open and ready to serve at 5:00 a.m. That's great news for our couple dozen roofers who are usually on the road to job sites by 6.

Nothing better than a solid egg sandwich before a long day on the roof.

We did this roof for MHAB Life Skills Campus back in 2023. I passed by to do a brief post-install check-in.

It’s a good sign to see snow evenly covering the roof.

Even snow coverage typically means the roof system is performing as designed insulation and ventilation are balanced, and heat isn’t escaping unevenly from the building. When a roof holds snow consistently, it reduces the risk of ice dams and points to proper installation and airflow.

In many scenarios, investing in the right roofing system can literally pay for itself over time by reducing heat loss, improving energy efficiency, and lowering long-term heating costs especially in cold-weather climates like ours.

We’re thankful that an agency doing the important work MHAB does would entrust us to install the roof at the Life Skills Campus.

We’ll be back to check on you again in 2027.

Would you like to see the Olympics back in Lake Placid?

As a roofing company that has proudly worked on so many of Lake Placid’s iconic camps, beautiful inns, hotels, resorts, and even the Olympic Center, we’ve seen firsthand the pride this community has in its Olympic heritage.

Former Assemblyman Billy Jones and others are now talking about bringing the Winter Olympics back to Lake Placid, possibly in partnership with New York City, using existing venues and the Adirondacks’ world-class winter sports facilities.

Lake Placid is one of the few places in the world to host not just one, but two Winter Games (1932 and 1980), and its facilities and legacy still draw athletes and visitors from around the globe.

We were genuinely impressed by the quality, stories, and local pride reflected in this publication. It does a great job showcasing the people, places, and history that make the Adirondack Coast and the North Country such a special place to call home.
