After the original contractor walked off a major remodel, we stepped in to take over, support the stressed homeowner, and bring the vision back to life. We’re proud to have guided the full pre-construction phase for Playland 2—a 100-unit mixed-use apartment building in El Cerrito, CA. Our work included coordinating design teams, securing permits, aligning with utility providers, and carefully managing the bid process to ensure competitive pricing without sacrificing quality.

Through value-engineering and thoughtful planning, we focused on building efficiency, sustainability, and long-term performance. Most importantly, this stage was about communication and collaboration—bringing architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors together to set construction up for success.
