As we celebrate 6 years in business, we are incredibly proud to give back to the next generation by awarding $6,000 in scholarships to three outstanding students pursuing careers in the workforce and skilled trades.

We believe college is an incredible path for many students, but we also know the skilled trades are just as important. Our communities will always need hardworking individuals to build, repair, serve, create, and keep the world moving forward through hands-on careers. Trades require skill, dedication, intelligence, and heart. We are proud to support students choosing that path.

Each recipient will receive up to $2,000 to help purchase tools, work gear, training, and other resources to jumpstart their careers.

Want to take a minute to give a huge shout out to all of our snow crew and our subs for the hard work and long hours over the last 9 days. Over those days we logged over 2900 man hours which doesnt include cleaning and repairs, 2248 gallons of diesel fuel and gallons of energy drinks and coffee. From large industrial warehousing facilities to retail sidewalks our crew tackled all of it head on. Some of the crew got some pics and videos.

This past week has been a busy week for our crews. One crew tackled a spray septic system in Oregonia while another started our last mound septic system for the season and wrapped up a couple final grading projects.

The Oregonia system presented several challenges, steep grades (40%+), tight working areas, rocky soil and limited access due to a thin concrete driveway. This was a replacement system that required planning to keep the home operational with a temporary holding system while the new system was installed.

Our crew has been busy wrapping up our NRCS agricultural waterway project and our systematic tiling job. Our crew installed over 21 miles of drainage pipe on this project! For this project we utilized our gps controlled tile plow for precision grade control.

Our crew has been busy with agricultural waterway construction for the last few weeks. 2 different farms and 3 different waterways. Once the last waterway is wrapped up, we will be moving onto a systematic field tiling project. More pics to come!

A recent rain storm dumped over 4” of rain in under an hour in our area resulting in several areas of flash flooding. One of our clients had a 60” steal culvert pipe under the roadway to his farm become restricted with debris. When this happened the culvert began to lift and fold resulting in the water going up and over the driveway apx. 13’ above the pipe inlet. While the driveway was still passable, it was severely compromised.

On this project we replaced 60’ of failed steel culvert pipe and replaced it with 80’ of dual wall plastic. We lengthened the pipe to move the toe of the bank to allow easier access for the client to maintain the hill side. We installed riprap to help prevent future erosion as well. We also discovered an old bridge under the driveway that had to be removed in order to replace the failed pipe.

Last month marked 5 years in business. Tonight, we were honored to present two scholarships to students who aren’t going on to college, but who will be going straight into the workforce.

Congratulations to Carson Hunley and Kash Keitz. They will each receive up to $2,500 in scholarship funds. These funds can go toward work boots, tools, training programs, or any other resources they need to jumpstart their career.

Carson has started his own business, Hunley Lawn & Landscape. He plans to take his business to the next level by designing and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Kash plans to join the Airborne Tech program to become an airline mechanic.

We’d also like to thank GEF (Goshen Education Foundation) for their guidance and support as we navigated our first scholarship awards.

With a break in the rain our crew worked on wrapping up our part of the first phase of the hog barn lagoon today in Russellville. It’s ready for the concrete crew!
