Ever wonder what happens after foundation piers are installed? 👀

In this project, our team used hydraulic equipment during the foundation lifting process. The homeowner’s exterior crack, which measured about 1/2 inch at its widest point, was reduced to approximately 1/16 inch.

That’s a significant change! While results vary from home to home, foundation stabilization and lifting may help reduce visible signs of settlement when conditions allow.

With nearly 7 years at United Structural Systems, Bill serves as a Lead Foreman, bringing experience, leadership, and a willingness to learn to every job site.

One of his favorite parts of the job? Traveling to different locations, meeting new customers, and training new team members by sharing his knowledge and experience. When he’s not on the job, you can usually find Bill traveling, hunting, fishing, or enjoying the great outdoors. In his words, he enjoys all the “country boy stuff”! 🌲🎣

If you're turning on your heat for the first time and noticing a musty smell, it could be a sign that excess moisture is affecting your crawl space.

That moisture doesn’t always stay below the floor. Over time, it can contribute to:

Warped floorboards caused by elevated moisture
Mold growth in the crawl space that can affect indoor air quality
Higher heating costs when excess moisture makes it harder to maintain comfortable conditions
