These 3 pictures show the process of installing a ductless mini split wall hanging unit. You can see in the first photo, there's a small hole drilled into the wall. This is where the wiring and tubing is going to go, instead of attaching to ductwork.

In the second photo, the unit is hung, the tubing is connected in the back, and you can see the blue filters in the mini split.

In the final image, the cover is on, and the unit is ready for operation! You can see, this is a fairly straightforward, non-invasive process. Unlike traditional systems that require ductwork to run throughout the entire house, these systems use a small bit of tubing, that runs along the outside of the house.

This house is a perfect example of what "Zoned Comfort" is. It means you can adjust different rooms or "zones" to different temperatures. Not every room needs to be the same temperature, which benefits you in a few different ways.

First off, it allows you to customize your comfort. If you want to spend time in the basement while someone else watches TV in the living room, you can each have the room at the temperature you desire. This is especially good in bedrooms, if different family members have different sleep preferences.

Another benefit of zoned comfort is the ability to save energy. If you aren't using a room, instead of heating or cooling it to the same temperature as the rest of the house, you can turn these zones off, or set them at a lower power mode to save energy. This ability to cool and heat each zone independently leads to significant energy savings and lower energy bills.
