Not every home on the lake has to be filled with blues and beach-inspired décor.

For this remodel, the goal was to create a space that felt connected to the lake while embracing a distinctive mid-century modern style. The result is a home that feels warm, timeless, and perfectly at home along the shoreline.

Natural maple trim and maple doors bring warmth and character throughout the home, while custom bathroom doors add a unique architectural detail that complements the overall design. In the bathroom, custom slate tile work creates texture, depth, and a striking focal point that ties the space together.

This project is a great reminder that lakeside living can be interpreted in many ways. Sometimes stepping away from the expected coastal palette creates a home that feels even more personal and memorable.

D&D Carpentry is growing, and we are looking to expand our team.

We have a strong pipeline of upcoming work including custom homes, additions, renovations, and detailed carpentry projects. As demand continues to grow, we are looking for skilled and motivated individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a team that delivers high quality craftsmanship.

We offer a 4-day work week, giving our team Fridays off to enjoy more time outside of work.
