Jobs of the week.

It's been a hot week and miserable. I'm so done with summer.
We got through the week with some take downs and Low Limbing.
Job of the week
A Hackberry Tree that split. We got the trucks in and cleaned up what was on the ground first then backed in with the bucket and took the rest down that was over the house.
Bonus Job of the week was an Elm tree on Thomasville that had a section broke off and laying supported by another section by the road.
Big Thanks goes to Daniel from ARDOT and his crew for helping me with traffic and flagging. I was able to get it down pretty quick with their help. They have helped several times in the past and I'm always thankful . Awesome bunch.
Also saved some birds to live another day. We postponed taking a tree down for them. We'll go back and finish a bit later.

Reaching for NEW heights in the Tree Trimming Business.
Long Post.

We finally made it home after driving all day of to LA (Lower Arkansas).

Glenwood to be exact.

After some deciding and a lot of thinking and prayers I upgraded my Bucket Truck option. Came across I hope was a deal.
I couldn't pass it up.

Meet the New Girl

2016 Freightliner 4X4 with a Cummins Motor, 60 foot Altec Boom, Even comes with the headache rack which is hard to find and costly to make.

I have a few upgrades I need to do to it but she will be on duty starting next week. New Shoes tomorrow for the front first. Then some cosmetic add on's as time goes on and business promotion decals to add.

The other truck is a 55ft and this new one is 60ft and believe me that extra 5 foot makes a difference.

I want to thank my Wife Angela for putting up with my endeavors. The hours I work, the stress she sees and doesn't see me bare and sometimes the expense and the pain involved to get from one day to the next.

Also want to thank some of the best mechanics and good people I have come across. Jim Frailey & Nick Frailey at Fraileys Garage and the rest of the crew there. They have helped me through several predicaments and with purchasing this truck. Give them a call for your auto needs. Again, They're awesome good people.
Also a thanks to my Hydraulic Guy Rusty Gibson at Gibson's Custom Hydraulic in Marmaduke for his input and guidance on the Hydraulic Part of this purchase. He's a good guy, reasonable and has taking on several issues in the past for me (Mostly my first truck I have no longer).
All these guys have I not only trusted with my equipment and taken on things that some have turned me away on but they have become what I call friends. I highly recommend them all.
Most of all thank God himself for this opportunity. It's taking 25 years to get where I am and without him I would have quit a long time ago. Each days start with a prayer and each one ends with one. I thank him each day and sometimes several times a day.

-- the 2013 Bucket will be up for sale sometime next week. I also have my Rayco small chipper that will be going up for sale soon. All in working order.

Jobs for the week

Started off the week battling the rain.

&
We spent time in Walnut Ridge at the Lawrence Memorial Cemetery. Took down 4.Trees and hauled off ..

We did some low limbing along a fence line for a gentleman which was the one that picked up some supplies for me in Jonesboro.

We took down a dying Maple tree and low limbed the oak next to it to allow more sunlight in for a nice lady near Maynard.

Was another busy week even after all the threats of rain.

Now its time to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend off

Have a safe weekend
