Congrats Highland high school marching band!
Never did I think I'd be a musicians dad. I always made fun of them growing up. Band nerds and all(I still do-Trev just rolls with it 😂) Oz Construction got to be a sponsor for the marching band this year and I'm really proud of the commitment and time these kids put in. I've met several of them, really nice kids. I had no idea of the countless hours, super early mornings, traveling, school days and evenings required to perform at their level. Today they performed at Holt arena and the Rams won overall and their division. Century took a very close second. I've seen Trevin grow musically and personally even though his whole life he's been at it hard. He plays the Synth? That's what I've heard him call it anyways, looks like a piano to me. This program keeps these kids busy with structure and is constructive/worthwhile. Glad the district makes it a part of the curriculum. Thumbs up guys! And their teacher Andrew Wilson ---RESPECT--
