Black Diamond Tree Experts to the rescue. Even on vacation. Camping this past weekend a branch from a large oak tree suddenly snapped as I myself was walking under it. Hearing the sound before I ran like hell. The 20 or so foot branch swang suspended in air right above me and my car. Sean Steckler owner of Black Diamond Tree Experts called his crew to saddle up once we were able to reach the owner of Casini Ranch family campground to ok the work. Juan Gonzalez was on scene within the hour. He and Sean accessed the situation and Juan suited up and climbed the tree with ease. As a large crowd gathered Gonzalez got the massive branch to the ground as the crowd exploded with cheer and a few cat calls from the ladies. Thankful no one and no cars were hurt and that Juan was able to get his gear and son out to make the area safe again. You never know when something like this could happen and it’s a lesson that we should be aware of our surroundings and trees should be checked regularly for any weak areas. This situation ended well but had a potential of being deadly. Have your trees checked even if you don’t see an issue there may be hidden danger. It’s better to be safe then sorry.

Today our Arborist Sean Steckler was able to assist and help a woman trapped in a truck due to a fallen tree on Dry Creek Road. Sean was about 20 cars behind when a tree had seconds before fallen and landed on top of a truck. Due to Sean having his equipment with him, he was able to hand out saws to brother a tree guy that happen to be on his way to the lake. They were able to cut the tree as others jumped from their cars and cleared brush. They were able to get the tree off the truck just as fire and CHP arrived. Kudos to Sean and Ryan (company name unknown) for doing what they did and being where they were at the right time.

Must have reliable vehicle and drivers license. Absolutely no drug use or daily drinkers, must be physically strong, willing to work hard, like to work outdoors. Pay depending on experience.
