As the seasons begin to change, so does the way we approach hydroseeding! 🌱🍂

We’ll be wrapping up Bermuda planting within the next week or two. While temperatures may still be warm, we want to give Bermuda enough time to establish a healthy root system before colder temperatures and winter dormancy. We’d rather recommend the right timing than put seed down just to book another job.

As we move into cooler weather, cool-season grasses such as ryegrass can be an option for temporary green coverage and erosion control through the cooler months. Just keep in mind: these grasses are temporary in our East Texas climate and will naturally decline/die out as temperatures heat back up—they are not a permanent replacement for warm-season turf.

Every property and project is different, and we’re happy to help you decide what makes sense now or whether waiting for the next planting season will give you better long-term results.
