Busting out building pads like it’s going out of style. I bought this little box blade and Trimble earthworks 2d for my skid steer a couple years ago. Compared to all the tech available for heavy equipment now, it’s pretty simple and inexpensive. When you need a level pad though, it’s hard to beat. I calculate the material needed, add a percentage for compaction and go. We used it recently on footings for the ice rink and I think the concrete guys will be pleased.
