This time of year we get random phone calls asking about our herbicide program. Some of these calls are negative. We realize people are sensitive to herbicides and we are compassionate. However, we are not the enemy. It is a service our customers and myself (this pic is of my yard) request so we provide it in the safest manner possible. Some things to note:

1. Our operator is fully licensed by the state. Instead of operating under Adam’s license he spent his own personal time getting licensed so he could be as knowledgeable as possible. He is working on a Saturday because the weather did not allow for spraying this week and we have about a two week window to get those dandelions before they go to seed.
2. Our operator wears long sleeves, gloves, and long pants per licensure requirements.
3. Notice the cool machine he uses. He is able to dispense herbicide and fertilizer at the same time. The nozzles for the herbicide are 10-12 inches from the ground in order to minimize overspray and aerialization of the chemical.
4. Our operator adheres to EPA requirements for appropriate wind speed and notes wind speed, temperature, chemical and amount, and time on his very comprehensive schedule.
5. We do not spray when wind speed or temperatures are averse to spraying.

So, in conclusion…we are an extremely professional, licensed company. We follow all EPA and state requirements. We measure appropriately and apply products appropriately. Our schedule is completely full and unless you are a full service customer we probably can’t fit you in if you call. Thank you for trusting us with your lawn care.
