NCA for cold weather, relief cuts at 24 hours, blankets for a week. The end result is properly cured concrete with the cracks staying in the relief cuts.

We are finally getting some snow! Perfect time to sit and study. Today we’re studying rebar, it’s use in concrete, the difference between compressive and tensile strength, and how rebar helps with both of those!

Hiring a hack concrete guy will cost you double on the repairs and while that concrete guy is going around claiming he was never paid (even though he was), while ripping off customers, not paying his employees, not paying his subs, not paying his dirt guy, getting liens on our customers buildings from not paying the concrete company. We are out here eating the cost of our poor decision in picking the wrong guy and are now doing what is right, so that the customer doesn’t get stuck with low quality work, and a bill they don’t deserve! Reason 23 why Nordic Steel stated their own concrete division!

Reason 11 why we decided to start our own concrete company. This is the closest Nordic Steel came to losing a building due to an incompetent concrete contractor. We were lucky enough to get the building down before this concrete fell off! Feel free to ask for insurance and questions during the process. Just because someone is nice doesn’t mean they are qualified to build the foundation of your house.

Reason 7 why we have stated a concrete division. If you don’t vibrate the walls then they will crack. Don’t let a concrete contractor just tell you “yup, concretes going to crack” and then laugh it off. That’s unaccetable. Not to mention, a blind 4 year old could have been more accurate with these bolts!
