MJD GLOBAL DISASTER RESTORATION offers 24/7 Response Services to all Florida counties. We perform water extraction, fire & smoke damage mitigation, contents, mold remediation. We are seeking energetic, responsible people!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Water mitigation, fire and/or mold remediation experience.
* IICRC Certification Preferred, not required.
* Operating remediation equipment, drying equipment service vehicle.
* Valid FL Driver’s License.
* Positive Attitude.
* Desire to help others.
* Outstanding customer service.
* Interest in learning new skills.
* Team oriented.
* Ability to work flexible hours when on call. (We are a 24/7 company).
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
Water mitigation, structural drying, fire and/or mold remediation experience:
At least 1 year
LANGUAGE SKILLS
ENGLISH, SPANISH & or CREOLE
Ability to understand simple instructions, write simple notes & to present info 1-on-1, to small groups/other employees.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense to carry out written/oral instructions & to deal with any issues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Requires medium labor. You must be able to lift 50lbs routinely.
* Work in awkward places; use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
* Work in high places & outdoor weather conditions
* Work under fumes or airborne particles & toxic or caustic chemicals environment (will be provided safety training & safety equipment).
* Traveling to each job requires the safe operation of a company vehicle.
OTHER
* We are an EOE.
* Must be able to report to work every morning M-F, some weekends and any emergency calls after hours.
