Phase 2 Progress Update | Gillette Ridge Golf Club ⛳

Work continues to take shape at Gillette Ridge Golf Club in Bloomfield, CT, as Phase 2 of the bunker renovation moves forward!

Golf course architect Doug Smith, ASGCA, was on-site last week collaborating with the project team to review progress and finalize the next stages of construction!

Progress continues at Gillette Ridge Golf Club as our team advances bunker renovations across the course.

Recent work includes sod installation around the bunkers on Holes #12 and #13.

With newly installed sod framing the reshaped bunkers, the details of the renovation are beginning to take shape against a beautiful New England fall backdrop. 🍂

Recent progress includes removing existing sod and bunker sand, stripping and relocating topsoil for screening, preparing native areas, and staging drainage materials as construction moves forward.

Our team has been hard at work on Hole #12, completing the fairway bunker fill, preparing for sod, and continuing the detailed shaping of the greenside bunkers.

There’s nothing better than seeing a renovation begin to reveal the finished vision.
