We had the opportunity to spend the day with the juniors and seniors at Oak Forest Academy, sharing a glimpse into what we do at Keith Lott’s Plumbing—and what a rewarding career in the trades can look like. 👷‍♂️🚧

From hydro excavation and gas line installation to operating camera equipment and protecting underground utilities, these students got a hands-on look at the real work behind damage prevention and gas distribution.

It’s always an honor to invest in the next generation and show them that there are meaningful, successful career paths right here at home—no matter what direction they choose.

💙🚧 Last week, our team had the opportunity to attend the Louisiana Damage Prevention Summit in Lafayette, LA, and it was time well spent.

From learning about the latest safety practices and industry updates to connecting with others who are just as committed to protecting underground utilities, this summit reinforced why damage prevention matters so much—not just for our industry, but for our communities.

We’re always working to stay educated, proactive, and ahead of the curve so we can continue providing safe, reliable service. Big thanks to the organizers and everyone who made this event such a valuable experience.
