Well, Woodworking Wednesday was forgotten this week lol. So here’a friday update.

I’ve been working on this 60 year old window, 60”x68” center with 24”x68” casements on either side. Quite a bit of rot all around, made some custom trim to replace a few sections, lots of scraping and sanding. About ready for paint! In some cases it’s better to repair these older windows instead of replace.

Had a little side project of crown molding in between setting up the shop for woodworking. Lots to do still!

Cooler weather is breezing in, which means its time to close your pools! 🏊🏼‍♂️ Remember, the water should be close to 60 degrees without leaves!

Here are a few throwback photos of when I was doing pool maintenance and renovations in MS during service(2020).

Over the next few weeks I will be working on a portfolio of work both seasonal and year round that I would like to add in to the work rotation, pool service will probably be one!

The leaves are falling 🍂, harvest season is here 🌽🫘, the air is cooling 🥶. It’s the best time of year.

Wow it’s been a long time since an update!

Due to health and limitations I’m reducing my scope of work quite a bit, that’s not to say inactive! Just setting up a wood shop for an area I can design and create custom woodworking projects. I’ll still be servicing past clients and the occasional niche project in the future.

To use a favorite quote of mine, one of perseverance:

“You gotta keep on keepin’ on. Life’s a garden, dig it.”

I hope you all will continue to follow and support me, I’m looking forward to it!

Today I drove up to Swannanoa NC and delivered supplies and spent all day helping out with volunteer efforts for Savage Freedom Ops, which had established an airfield to make vital deliveries to people in the mountains whom were cut off from access.

Y’all, I really don’t have any words. Unreal.

I’m semi reluctant to share images, out of respect for the community and everything destroyed. But I think the world really needs to know, these people need support and will need it for months if not years down the road. Many communities have been wiped off the map, and the rest will never be the same.

Please keep Swannanoa and the 100’s of other effected communities in your continued prayers.

I want to thank each and every person who helped and contributed to sending aid to NC. It means the world to me, but it really means the world to those that need it most right now. Thank you!!!!!!

We are loaded up, gassed up, ready to roll!

Pontiac, words cannot describe my gratitude of the overwhelming generosity that’s been received. All these donations for NC, from medical supplies to clothes and food and so much more.

Hello all,

I hope you can take a little time and offer some support to those who need it most right now. My home state of NC has experienced disaster, in the wake of Hurricane Helene many have been left with nothing and roads totally cutting them off. Helicopters have drop points all over the surrounding communities and are delivering necessities via air.

I’ve set up a gofundme to help purchase supplies from out of state and deliver to drop off locations, as to not deplete already limited commodities in the local/surrounding areas of WNC.

Physical donations are desperately needed at this time. Highest priority items as of now are still water, sanitary supplies (napkins, diapers, etc), Benadryl (yellow jackets are causing major issues), clothes and non perishable foods. Please contact me if interested and I will pick up or you can drop off.

The goal is to have my whole trailer loaded with necessities. Please if you are able, no donation is too small.
