Excited to kick off a big project this week! We're helping HBK Illinois Rental get one of their properties updated with brand new, durable vinyl plank flooring. A fresh floor can completely change the look and feel of a space, and we can't wait to see this one through. Here’s what we’re starting with. Let the demolition begin!

You know what they say... The show must go on! My first wall of the day so I'm a bit sketchy now but I'll figure it out.. I've had worse luck this last year then ever in my life. With 2 broken wrists it's hard to do anything but I gotta do what I gotta do that's all there is to it. Can't find anyone else to work so I have to do what I can. It'll buff out...

Hope everyone has a great day! If anyone needs anything done you think I can handle I'd really appreciate the extra work right now. Most of the jobs I have I can't complete by myself so I'm looking for things I actually can do without to much strain on my wrists

Another fun filled day of painting here at Phoenix. This door had one small bubble I could see jn a corner. I started scraping and it just started falling off. I believe sometines this happens on newly installed doors sometimes because depending on the brand they have a powdery substance on the surface and if its not cleaned off before you paint the paint will stick to the dust or powder and not the door properly.

Now is the time to knock out all those projects you have been saying all year you were going to take care of this summer. 🌞 I'll even do some powerwashing on nice days, I said last summer I'd take a few if anyone was interested but what I'd really like to start is a full tile bathroom or kitchen Remodel with some detail (hexagon honeycomb tiles mergeing together with a different wood plank style tiles wou be awesome) and somthing i can take time to perfect. I'm ready to create something amazing... let me do it for you!

I have alot of work here so I have not been advertising but I will be posting adds again soon. If you have anything at all that needs done sometime soon would be a great time to get me scheduled in, especially if it's outdoors..

Bout time for it to start being nice so I can get some outside jobs done. Today and the last few I have been painting doors at Phoenix apartments. 3 buildings and off the top of my head I'm not sure how many doors but its near 100. Just 1 side, similar color and I get paid per door. If anyone is looking for work in the Pontiac area and knows how to work a paint brush, a shovel, quick learner for things like siding, get a***e of me I'd really like to delegate some things to a helper. I'm also going to be tackling the stairs and anything else that needs to be brown.

This is the weather I need right here, time to shine

Here's a bunch of photos from my recent jobs. I had to deal with a nasty clogged drain and I can't say that was much fun but it's done. I pulled that 8 or 10 foot of 1 1/2 pvc pipe oout of the inside of that old clay pipe. It was just letting water run back out into the basement. I cut it off flush and put a boot on there for clay and pvc. Added a 4 inch to 1 1/2 inch reducer to match the boot, pulled that nasty clogged piece of pvc out and its like new. Laid some linoleum sheet flooring in an apartment. Phoenix apartments used to use wrights (I think) for all their carpet and linoleum because I have always been so busy trying to build a presence that I was to busy to do the work when they needed it done. I havnt even been running adds or anything all year, I've just been catching up on old work, and taking care of the people who already know what I am capable of. I'm finally getting to a point where I'm able to do some of the things there I couldn't before like laying linoleum for them.. I'm also going to get some carpet tools and get a notch under me for that aswell, it's one things I have always said I didn't do for the simple reason that I didn't have the tools to do the work.. I'm really going to try and update more, I get busy and totally.forget till it's to late.

Just have to get the light and vent back up and I will be on to the next one! I have completed a couple jobs for this client, I was actually able to do this without charging for any materials because I had the drywall compound laying around and have enough ceiling and wall paint to get the job done. Also It wasn't part of the job but the light and the vent worked perfectly except the vent was clogged and rusty, the light was also rusty so I took them home to paint.. first I painted them white but im going go paint them black instead because they have a towel ring on the wall.and it's black so they will match.

I started a small bathroom project, I'm just scraping everything off, filling the voids and painting it. The vent has been plugged up for years probably and it wasn't pulling the moisture out. I am also fixing or replacing the vent so my clients don't have to deal with this again. I hope everybody has a good day and an great week

I'm a little rusty but here is a short clip of me cutting in the top of the walls on this job I'm finishing up. I'm not the best painter, or the fastest.. but I can put out quality work in little time, those are facts. Give me a call if you need anything painted or need me for any phase of construction/remodeling. Looking for good people to work for and fill my calendar with this next few months

So I have only used this stuff a couple of times and I'm not sure how it will hold up long term yet.
I was going to recreate a length of this trim to repair a couple spots like this but after a couple hours farting around with I thought of this and decided it was more worth the try then the amount of time it was going to take me to copy it. I let the client know I was unsure and offered to come fix it for Free if this cracks or doesn't hold up. Pretty cool stuff though, its kinda like qucik dry drywall compound except for its way harder. been around forever and when it says Rock hard, it's rock hard. I also fixed a door jamb with this stuff one time... no video today, I thought I was recording when I wasn't l😅

Doing a couple rooms in a clients house that I spent quite a few months at, now I'm back. Couple doors to put in, doing the floor in laminate, aswell as painting and putting up flush mount led can lights on a dimmer.

When I'm doing doors I always shim behind each hinge for nailer, I also put 2 more shims in between those so it's solid. I also make sure to fasten the doors real well near the slide latch so it will hold up better.
