Two false statements i hear a lot:
"Sod needs less water."
"Hydroseed needs less water."

One of the biggest misconceptions about new lawns is that sod needs less water than hydroseed. The truth? BOTH require consistent watering to establish healthy roots.

The key difference:Hydroseed keeps the surface moist for seed germination, while sod needs deep saturation so roots can bond with the soil underneath.
