The boys got right to work on this bathroom update! We enjoyed working on this historic lakefront home. Its always interesting to hear the history of a home this age. It has been shown lots of love over the years! Luke built a new radiator cover and we were able to re use the vanity mirror that was special to the owner. We look forward to returning for the next phase of work on this beautiful home!

Today was take your child to work day and Jon brought his son, my grandson, Waylon to help us on a kitchen/ bath project. This makes Waylons 5th year helping out the crew. He is a huge help and loves working with his Dad and the Uncles! We start them young at Kemp Quality Homes! We were only missing Levi Kemp today to complete the team!

We are always thankful for the referrals from our past customers. We built and did the finish carpentry on the beautiful brick home next door a couple years ago and appreciate them giving our number to their neighbors. We love heading north to work in cottage country! It was cold but the views were spectacular!! This deck needed some help and we were able to give it new life. Deck season is here get your deck ready for summer!

We were recently invited to a housewarming party for our customers John and Susan. We love to get a chance to see the final product with all the appliances and personal touches.
The customers were moving to Port Huron from Tennessee which posed extra challenges to the process. With a meeting and a few zoom calls it all came together Great! Thanks to much effort from Alana, the cabinet designer at Mortimer Lumber.
John and Susan are no strangers to renovation and knew what they wanted. Taller cabinets for display, a lot more drawers and updated colors. What was a real nice kitchen got a Big Upgrade! We thank them for trusting us with this project! We would also like to thank Dave Simpson for the referral!

What have the boys been up to? Well, kitchen and bath season is in full swing! We often are asked to remove existing soffitts so new cabinets can run to the ceiling. They always have surprises like heat ducts, electric wires, plumbing and in this case blown cellulose insulation. It's a process to re route everything for the new layout. After all this is addressed we will be back for the install. Lets make a plan for your kitchen renovation! Call or text to 810 650 2145
