We recently learned that a new Goodwill donation drop-off location has opened here in Edgewater, and we wanted to take the opportunity to share a little reminder about the many ways our community can give.

Organizations like Goodwill absolutely serve a purpose, and we harbor no hard feelings whatsoever about having another place in our community where people can donate the things they no longer need. In fact, we think it’s wonderful when usable items are kept out of landfills and given another life.

At the same time, we’d love to remind everyone that small, locally operated nonprofits and ministries are another wonderful option when deciding where to give. 💚

At F.R.O.G. Ministry — Forever Relying On God, the items our community donates are given away completely FREE to the people who walk through our doors.

No price tags. No purchases.

A bag of children’s clothes might help a family getting through a difficult month. A pair of shoes might go to someone who desperately needs them. Household items might help someone starting over. A toy might put a huge smile on a little one’s face.

And that is the beautiful thing about giving — there is room for all of us.

We don’t have to compete to do good. ❤️

Different organizations serve our community in different ways, and people should donate wherever they feel their donations can do the most good.

What is the Typical Garage Door Repair Spring Replacement Cost You ask?

Most residential spring replacement jobs fall within a broad range because no two doors are balanced the same way. In many cases, replacing an extension spring system costs less than replacing torsion springs. A typical residential repair may range from roughly $300 to $600 or more, depending on the work required.
