Sometimes a wild animal removal call turns into a rescue. We found this beautiful girl starving and weak. It looks like she took a stick to the soft part of her face between her eye, her cere and upper mandible. It had caused an infection that led to her becoming emaciated and weak. She had a hard couple of weeks until she got the help she needed. As you can see she is sleeping in with a full belly. We expect a full recovery with this owl.
