Abbey Electric, Inc. is seeking qualified licensed Journeymen. Employees will be responsible for performing low, medium and high-voltage electrical installations, service, maintenance and repair work in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and standard practices.
*******Qualifications
Licensed in the State of Washington - Journeyman EL01
Current Valid Driver's License
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Four years working knowledge of residential and commercial applications
Working knowledge of the NEC
Pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently or in a group environment
Ability to work from AutoCAD drawings and Specification Sheets
Must have the ability to communicate with General Contractors and Homeowners
Ability to move objects weighing over 50 pounds and may also be required to work on equipment located on high poles or other elevated locations, and/or perform their job in confined spaces.

Vacation Time
Journeyman with Abbey Electric receive 2 weeks of accumulated paid vacation time during the first year of employment. Paid vacation will then increase to 3 weeks at the beginning of the second year.
Paid Holiday Time
Abbey Electric offers eight paid holidays per calendar year. Full time employees will receive eight hours of compensation and part-time employees receive four hours for each holiday.
On Call Compensation
In order to provide emergency service to all of our customers, each field staff member will need to be available for after-hours and weekend service calls in an On Call rotation. In the event that service is required, the on call technician receives a pay rate at time and a half for service performed after hours during the week and double time pay rate for service performed on a weekend. All after hours rates service is paid at a 2 hour minimum.

$20-$50 per hour (Depending on Licenses, Certifications and Experience)
