• Transforming your bathroom from drab to fab starts with knowing your budget, setting a realistic timeframe, and having a plan. Get your list of ‘must haves’ together and your creative juices flowing, and ask yourself:
o Will you be keeping the current plumbing configuration?
o Are you replacing the toilet, sink, and shower?
o Are you adding additional square footage?
o Will you be building a linen closet?
There are decisions you can make prior to sitting down with your contractor which will make the consulting process a little easier. Knowing what you want to accomplish beforehand will save you time and energy, so know before you meet!

No two projects are the same, and an experienced contractor - with 15 years of knowledge - will know how long a complex or simple remodel takes.

If the timeframe they give you is too good to be true, it probably is!
A contractor who gives you a conservative completion date will allow for some breathing room and unexpected challenges.

With this additional time built in, when the project is done on time or even earlier, the contractor will have exceeded your expectations, and wouldn’t that be great!

St Andrew Lutheran Church project underway. Demolition, new posts and beams this week. Getting ready for the church’s new nursery. Next week we start cutting slab to start plumbing for the new bathroom.
