A well known licensed plumber in the area installed a new toilet for $500 which I will not say there name, never removed the old grout on floor, never cut the bolts so caps would close and never grouted or calked the base of the new toilet. After a call returned while I was there working because the toilet was shaking and moving got apset he had to retun refused to remove the toilet to resolve the problem (which was his doing) and would need additional $165 proceeded to tighten the bolts even more (knowing the outcome) and breaking both sides of the fl**ge, started to leave without a word when client refuse to pay extra on poor workmanship. At this point I stepped in and told him the truth with my 40 years experience he had nothing to say to me because he knew what I was saying was complete truth! Licensed contractors do take advantage of people’s lack of industry knowledge and I’m so sick of it being a God fearing and honest person I just cant do this to people. I stepped in to help fix the broken fl**ge and install the toilet correctly for a very good client we have serviced for years started with her master bath renovation to all her repairs and home improvements in very tight scheduled day making my work day end at 9pm but job was done right and client continues to trust our workmanship. The only reason she had to call the plumber was because I was working in Palm Beach and it was an emergency. This is how you build a name and reputation by doing things right and making clients happy to the point they only fully trust in you and will call you back for years to come and will speak highly of your company every where they go!
