📕📖I think sales is single handedly the biggest skill deficiency in this industry. I hear contractors time and time again, getting defensive when people question the price or the process. They defend the “quality” or boast about “we care more than others.” News flash… nobody gives a f*** about how much you care or your level of quality. They care about feeling important and making a decision they are comfortable with. It’s our job when objections are presented to ask questions in a manor that will guide them to making a decision that aligns with the sale. In this particular instance I did just that, I asked questions to solidify us as the authoritative figure. Asked for the sale, got push back which led to another objection. The real objection here was the upfront financial commitment to engage us. I could have dove deeper but I left the conversation this way on purpose…
Acknowledging client was very happy with our flexible hours âś…
Confident in our ability to execute âś…
Exited the conversation as the superior choice without sending desperate âś…
Let the conversation stressing scarcity, which will increase the speed of the decision they ultimately make. How many of you struggle with this, and how do you think I did?
