Construction shots: thermally treated wood siding is making its way onto the Courtyard Residence—a rot- and insect-resistant, low-maintenance material that brings beautiful warmth to the front entry.
Inside, sapele cabinetry meets patinated steel accents, while a mock-up of the interior plaster finish is set against the concrete floors. Warm, tactile materials unite!

Hi! My name is Clara and I am the summer intern at studioSTL this year! Over these past 8 weeks, I've learned many new skills from everyone who works here, as well as work on my own project: a remodel of the track shed at Blue Heron Middle School used by PTHS athletes!

One of our favorite places to pause: the Adams Street Parklet. Designed in collaboration with PT Main Street, the parklet features sculptural benches inspired by driftwood found along our local beaches. Built to be durable, low maintenance to support gathering and connection for years to come!

With a decade of experience in both public and private sector projects, Darius brings a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to design and enjoys exploring how emerging technologies, like virtual reality, can enhance the design process. Now halfway through his licensing exams, he hopes to become a licensed Architect by the end of the year!
