Alf's Roofing Inc We are a 4th generation Full service residential and commercial roofing company established in 1947.

Our founder Alf Overvag was a Norwegian immigrant who immigrated to Port Washington in 1947, where he established Alf's Roofing. Although roofing materials have changed since '47 we still value our old world traditions of taking pride in our work and giving the customer the highest quality job possible.

Hey Everyone ,

Looks like a nor'easter coming tonight into tomorrow. Alf's Roofing Inc is here for any of your storm related needs. We are always open 24/7 for emergency service and we are located right here in Port so we can respond to your call fast. Hopefully nobody needs us but if nature dictates different we are there for you with emergency tarps and commercial pumps for basements. Another area that is largely overlooked is the top of your chimney. Overtime the cement "crown" on top of your chimney may crack allowing water and animals to come down your chimney. One of the many areas we check with our yearly maintenance program is the crown of your chimney. Here is an example of a chimney we documented during a yearly roof inspection and brought to the customers attention. We removed the existing crown and installed a new one. What many people do not realize is that even tho you do not see water coming into your home that does not mean your roof is not leaking. After a variety of roofing companies attempted to fix the roof leak without success, Alfs Roofing Inc was called. The main beam "header" was completely rotted thru and it was sagging with a collapse imminent. Not only did we fix the roof leak but with our in house Union carpenters we rebuilt the front of the garage.
